The goal of Artisan Homes is to build people’s dream homes. Formed in 2017, Artisan Homes consists of REALTOR® Tammy Doyel, builder Jeremy Dieterman, and draftsperson, Katie Knudson. The team operates out of Keller Williams Siouxland at 103 S. Virginia St., Suite 300 in Sioux City.
Artisan Homes provides quality custom homes for a range of budgets and desires. The team has floor plans for a variety of styles and sizes of homes, or a client can start from scratch on his or her own design and vision.
With customer service that is unparalleled in the region, clients can expect Artisan Homes to provide help every step of the way, from choosing cabinets and carpet to siding and shingles. Artisan Homes also works with a trusted network of experienced subcontractors to ensure homes are done right.

MEET OUR TEAM
TAMMY DOYEL – REALTOR®
Tammy Doyel is the kind of gal who greets everyone she meets with a warm smile and a “can-do” attitude. She’s learned the art of impeccable customer service during her past eight years working as a real estate agent. Tammy is currently employed with Keller Williams Siouxland in Sioux City. She also loves the building industry and, as a REALTOR®, Tammy has almost 100 custom homes under her belt. With her new role at Artisan Homes, Tammy looks forward to combining all her passions to help people settle into their dream homes.
Tammy hails from Humbolt, Iowa. She graduated from high school in 1985, then went to beauty school for her cosmetology license. She was an instructor, clinic floor director and recruitment specialist for La’ James College of Hair Design, and owned salons and medical spas in the Sioux City area for 25 years. Tammy became a real estate agent when she was in her early 40s, initially selling for RE/MAX, then joining Century 21.
She’s also raised a family, calling herself good friends with her children Parker, 26; Hannah, 25; and Levi, 20. Naturally, she adores spoiling her granddaughters Jaylin, 5; and Kinley, 7 months old.
When she’s not working, Tammy loves traveling, especially to the Florida Keys. She also enjoys movies, fitness, nutrition, and spending time outdoors.
What does she like best about her role with Artisan Homes? “I like seeing a plan on paper come to life,” said Tammy. “It’s exciting to be part of that process and an honor for the homeowner to trust us. It’s a forever bond.”
KATIE KNUDSON – DRAFTER
Katie Knudson lives by the tagline “Dream. Design. Deliver.” That’s exactly what she does for Artisan Homes as the draftsperson, literally drawing up the plans for custom homes.
Katie’s background includes a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of California in Orange County. She currently owns a full-service interior design firm in Sioux City, Katie Knudson Design, where she is lead designer.
Fun fact about Katie: She’s an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She is excited for her role at Artisan Homes, where she can help deliver people’s dream homes through skilled design.
